The Mk2 Jaguar is one of the all time great classic cars. It mixes style, practicality and performance in one package. In 3.8 litre form it really packs a punch and was much in demand from racing drivers, bank robbers and police alike.
This Australian delivered car has it all, it is a genuine 3.8 Manual with Overdrive, it retains its original colour of Cotswold Blue with Grey leather, it has a Factory Heritage certificate confirming matching numbers, it comes with an Australian Classic Car magazine article from 1994 when it had a genuine 22,000 miles so we believe that the current mileage is correct, and it is in beautiful condition! What more do you want? Immaculate Chrome-tick, perfect timber-tick, Graeme Lord servicing-tick, lightly patinated trim-tick, desirable Derrington steering wheel-tick, perfect panel fit-tick.
Most importantly it drives superbly, no rattles, nice rifle bolt action gearbox, strong smoke free engine and tight handling.
There are always a few MK2?s offered for sale but very few you would really like to own, this is the kind of car we love to sell, it just shouts genuine and you know it will give reliable and enjoyable service, something you can enjoy with the family at the weekend and occasionally push into daily use to embarrass your colleagues with their boring Euro boxes!
