Auction description:
Lot : 14
1969 Daimler V8-250
Estimate: NOT SOLD
Registration No: WGJ213G
Chassis No: 1K3900BW
Engine No: 7K4035
CC: 2548
Colour: Dark Blue
Trim Colour: Light Blue
MOT: April 2011
Finished in Dark Blue with Light Blue upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in "very good" condition with regard to its engine, automatic transmission, electrical equipment and interior trim. Rating the bodywork and paintwork as "excellent", he further informs us that 'WGJ 213G' was "first registered in February 1969 and is among the very last 250 V8s made. The Daimler has undergone substantial restoration work including a bare metal respray and has the desirable 'Coombs' rear arches and rechromed bumpers. It also benefits from a stainless steel exhaust, period Becker Europa radio, light blue leather interior plus matching carpets, smooth running V8 with very good oil pressure, new Boge automatic shock absorbers and fresh Vredstein 185 SR 15 steel radial tyres. The odometer shows some 1,650 miles which is believed but not warranted to represent the total covered since restoration. The car has a MOT certificate valid until April 2011".
