Sellers description:
A very nice Daimler V8 250 that’s identical to the Jaguar MK2 except it came with a V8 instead of a straight six, and slight changes in the dash. It has 80K original miles, leather interior, solid wood dash and trim, and four wheel disc brakes. I purchased this car from the UK when I lived in Germany. It is right hand drive, but being from the UK the dash is still in MPH. The only real driving I got to do with it is a 3 hour drive when I purchased it. Drove great, still does. Starts at the push of a button. I have the copy of the TUV (German autobahn inspection report) that the car passed in November 24th 2008. The TUV is an EXTREMELY thorough inspection process that checks alignment, shocks, brakes, safety features, rust, tire tread, lights ETC. The fact that a 1968 car was legal to drive on the autobahn was very rare.
I have receipt for the 5430 Euro (about $8000) I spent. In the process of shipping it, the shipping company backed it into a wall and put the dent in the rear quarter. I received $2500 to fix the dent. I would love to fix the dent and keep it, but divorce leaves me to lose my cars and toys or my house.
