We are always pleased to offer examples of Daimler motorcars as they are one of the most prestigious names in motoring history.

The example we have on offer for you today is a 1968 250 V8 saloon with the rare manual transmission option which has been entered by a gentleman from Essex. It is described as being in good condition throughout and there is a very good history file and lots of invioces for work done over the years.

It is finished in Silver and it comes with a Grey leather interior and a full length folding sunroof and the owner believes that the mileage is correct at 35560 miles. It has the 2548cc V8 engine and it has a current M.O.T. certificate until June, many previous M.O.T. certificates, and a Heritage Certificate in the history file.

This is lovely and distinctive vehicle that will delight its new owner for many years to come.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
