We are delighted to offer you today this excellent Jaguar 340 Sports Saloon which has been privately entered from the North East of England and we understand that during his ownership it has been kept in dry storage and only driven on sunny days.
Dating from 1968 it was fully restored in 1998 but was then re-possessed by H.M. Customs and Excise because that last owner owed some money he had 'forgotten about'. The restoration cost in the region of ú16,000 and included having a full body repaint and new carpets and a new roof lining fitted and a full list of all the other work can be found in the car's history file.
Unfortunately, because of the re-possession, it has a limited history prior to 1998 but is known to the Jaguar Owners Club and comes with wire wheels and the original steel radial tyres, the manual gearbox with overdrive and it is fitted with an immobiliser.
PLEASE NOTE: The estimate was incorrectly printed in the catalogue and should have read ú12000 - ú14000.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
