www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Jaguar-240/183251839405
Opening bid US $14,500, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction buy it now price $19,000 seller hartmannvolker, 92k miles.
Sellers description:
I bought this car as a restauration project in 1988. It was completely restored in 1989 by Wagner Auto Shop in Germany.
All interior and exterior work done professionally. Outstanding Paint. Car was completely stripped.
It has 2 popular owners. Juergen Grabowski, A Soccer player from Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany in the 70' and Otto Walenta, the publisher of the popular Classic Car Magazine in Europe, "The Markt".
The car runs, but it needs some tuning. The transmission is leaking out of the pan seal. The body work of this car is awesome, rust free. Its painted under the car even, no rubber spray on it, only Dinol wax. The interior only needs a few touch ups (like I never installed the arm rest leather which I have, new window seals, some minor electrical work for interior lights carburetor and ignition adjustment etc).
I'm selling it because I have other interests now and need the space. I own this car since 1988. It was bought in Germany, comes originally from the UK. Its a RHD of course.
Its a good deal, especially because of the nice rust free body of the car.
The last 4 pictures are from 1988 during restauration. The car was originally beige. The last picture is the title from Germany, shows all owners.
