Car to be at R & S auction 1/11

Auction description:
1966 Jaguar Mark X 4.2
Consignment # 9069
VIN: J661D76554BW
Offered for Auction sale at Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona January 19th-23rd, 2011.
This 1966 Mark 10 Jaguar is an elegant classic that you just won't see every day. The Mark X 4.2 was the top of the range "large saloon." It has had only three owners since sold new to Bill and Susanne Jamison of Wickenburg, AZ, and has remained in Wickenburg since. The car has 80,000 actual miles on it, and runs and drives extremely well. The engine is an inline 6-cylinder with 3 SU carburetors that is rated at 252 horse power at 5200 rpm. The motor is original to the car. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic. Car has p/s, p/b, a/c.
The Jaguar was originally gray but it has been repainted Jaguar PPG 2-stage Sea Frost Metallic which accentuates its contours. The roomy interior is black and soft with classy wood dash and trim throughout. The two fold-down mirrored wood trays in the back seat just call for a silver ice bucket and tea sandwiches with Grey Poupon while motoring in style. The windows have wind-wings in the front and back.
The car was shown once at the Wheels of Britain show in Phoenix in March of 2009 and was awarded first place in the Early Saloon category.
