On of the last of the Jaguar Mk X models with the 4.2 engine fitted as opposed to the earlier Mk X 3.8 models.Ex UK registered MYE 127D. Mot certificates dating back to 1997 show an odometer reading of 70,719 miles, and steadily increasing each year. A major service receipt dated 1979 shows the car had only covered 69,928 miles. One can only deduce that it is genuine mileage at 77,000. Photos show engine work was undertaken during its extensive restoration, which one can assume was undertaken in the mid 1990's.
An excellent example of this sizeable saloon. Restored to very high standard to enable the car to be to chauffeur drive for weddings. These are very expensive cars to restore today and in this condition rarely do they come on the market. Additional pictures avaliable and re-importation details upon request.
In excellent condition with very good paintwork and very good brightwork. Photographs show corrosion was cut away corectly during its restoration. Engine bay has been carefully detailed and is excellent.
A complete re trimmed was undertaken during its restoration, new carpets, seats covers, headlinig etc. Wood cappings and interior are in excellent condition.
Upon importation to Jersey in 2007 work to the vehicle was undertaken to include, a gearbox and axle fluid change, rear bub bearings replaced, exhaust attention, and some gater repairs. further service receipts accompany the car showing it has been well maintained over the years. A detailed photofile shows the extent of works undertaken during its restoration.
