Car to be at auction 4/24
angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2636-06-Apr-2024/5208~1-1967-jaguar-s-type-34
Auction description:
1967 JAGUAR S-TYPE 3.4
Estimate: £7,000 - £9,000
V5 present
MoT date: 16/11/2024
Chassis number: 188539DN
Registered in July 1967, this Jaguar S-type 3.4 is now showing 88,799 miles on its odometer and has an MoT valid until November 2024 even though, as an historic vehicle, it is now MoT-exempt. The car was restored between 1989 and 1992 along with an engine rebuild; the large amount of invoices that accompany the Jaguar testify to further work and lots of care and attention since then. Upgrades include Coombs-style uprated front springs, classic Koni front shocks, electronic ignition, alloy radiator, electric fan, polybushed wishbones and anti-roll bar, 420 Adwest power steering box and stainless steel exhaust. The vendor reports that the car is running well and reliable.
Accompanying the S-type, in addition to the large folder of invoices stretching back to 1979, are the V5C, MoT certificates, Jaguar Heritage Trust production record trace certificate. owner's handbook, workshop manual, and a copy of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine. There's also some old tax discs and the original green logbook, plus some spare keys.
