Lot 135
1966 Jaguar S-Type 3.8 with O/D
Registration no: EU registered
Chassis no: 1879713DM

This rare left hand drive example with the desirable overdrive option has spent the more recent years in sunny and, more importantly, dry and warm Greece. It underwent a comprehensive restoration in 1999 and benefited from the fitment of new bumpers, a new stainless steel exhaust, new brakes and most recently the fitment of new petrol pumps in 2004. This delightful S-Type is reported to be virtually rust free and comes with its original toolkit.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
