1965 Jaguar S-Type 3.8 + manual transmission with overdrive -
ASI approved - European version.
Car sold new in Italy (European version), original 3800cc 6-cylinder engine just like the E-Type (XKE) with original transmission with overdrive (4+1 speeds + reverse).

It has a very sporty line with streamlined and aerodynamic tail, fastback.

Purchased new from a wealthy family, it had a few owners, and it was always preserved with care. The car has lived in Southern Italy for a long time,
without ever seeing rain.

ASI certified with number plate, it can be used in national and international historical rallies.

Matching numbers: Engine and gearbox are original from the factory, with certificate.

After some time spent unused in a garage in 2018, a lot of work was done,
worth more than €10,000 with invoices:

Completely new original leather interior, ASI approved;
Complete restoration of dashboard and all original woodwork
New tyres;
New chrome wire-spoked rims;
Overhauled radiator and larger modification;
New steering gear mounts and tool heads;
Repainting of parts where transparent coating was lacking:
trunk, rear fenders and windshield frame.
Steering and front chassis overhaul.

The engine has excellent 120 compression on all cylinders (as shown in photos) and is very pleasant to drive. It has also an excellent torque and power, responsive and very fast.
