A lovely Jaguar S-Type from 1965 with a superb 6 cylinder 3.8 S engine and 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive.

This is the luxurious and sophisticated evolution of the Mark 2. A veritable palace on wheels.

History:

An extensive history of invoices and photos will be delivered with the vehicle. This includes details of a complete refurbishment of the engine, paintwork and upholstery in 1995. It was recently repainted.

With very few owners, this vehicle still has the original registration certificate which is over 50 years old.

Bodywork:

The paintwork is like new, very shiny. Small dents are visible on the thickness of the doors, as with all cars whose doors are opened a little too quickly.

The chassis is in very good condition.

Interior:

The carpets, door panels and headliner are like new.

The woodwork is in very good condition, very shiny.

The upholstery in the front is old and shows some wear due to its age. It is nevertheless very comfortable and clean. The upholstery in the back does not show any cuts or damage.

The indicators and lights work.

Mechanics:

The engine starts, brakes, the gears shift.

The last work done in 2022: water hoses replaced, the radiator was removed and cleaned, the thermostat and water pump gasket were replaced, the engine and gearbox oil were drained and replaced, the starter, fuel pumps and ignition were checked.

Collection:

This Jaguar has been stored in a collection for many years and has therefore not been driven much in the last 5 years. This is a very lovely vehicle for collectors or for regular use on the road. In the latter case, it will be necessary to replace the tyres and check the fuses and connections to ensure that all bulbs and accessories work properly.
