    Good day to you Peter,

I am the owner of a 1965 S type which was imported in the USA in 1965 and exported to the Netherlands in 1999.

The problem for me, the 5th owner, is that I can't find the VIN number which should be according to the Dutch RDW, this your DMV,

located 'against r. edge profile in the trunk'.

Also isn't located the VIN number located at the crossmember in front of the radiator which is normally the place to look for.

I hope that you csan help in telling me where the VIN number is located in your car.

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,

    Hans Drop

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
