Auction description:
Lot 29
1964 Jaguar C-Type, re-creation
VIN/Chassis No. 1B59345DN
Engine No. 1B59345DN

This Jaguar was completed in 2010 by globally recognised company Coventry Classics. The owner requested the vehicle be built to factory Le Mans spec featuring triple weber carburettors & bonnet air intake.

Coventry has gone to pain staking detail to ensure this vehicle represents as close to an original C Type as possible, even sourcing original Lucas Le Mans 24hr headlight lenses.

Given that original C Types are being sold for in excess of 6 million pounds, this tool room copy represents outstanding value.

A very exciting car suited for both touring and track.

Estimate $ 160,000-200,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
