The Exterior 

Thought to have been restored previously

Some scratches, chips and cracks in the paint

Some patches of corrosion can be seen

Some surface corrosion to the underside, and the ‘crows feet’ are said to be ingot condition and original

There is some filler known to be in a rear wing

Running on steel wheels with chrome trims and chrome hubcaps

The Mechanics 

4.2-litre straight-six XK engine

Automatic transmission

Shares the same suspension setup as the E-Type

Said to start easily and run well

The only issue reported is that the engine can be started in any gear, as the interlock switch has failed

No other mechanical issues reported

New battery fitted in 2021

The prop shaft has reportedly been renewed 

Oil pressure said to be normal

Extensive hand-written servicing records on file
