Sellers description:

1968 Jaguar 420 / Daimler Soverign. I acquired it from a collector in Toronto, Canada who I believe acquired it from its original owner, a Doctor from British Columbia. I have records from the Daimler - Jaguar Heritage Trust which has some of the history of the vehicle.

It is a RIGHT HAND DRIVE vehicle, hence the Daimler brand. The left hand drive version was marketed under the Jaguar brand in the USA.

I legally imported it in 2006 and it has a California registration and title.

It is in running condition but requires additional restoration. I enjoyed driving this elegant ride in Southern California but now seek to downsize and reduce my number of toys.

The was recently inspected and appraised at $15,000.00. The appraisal/inspection report is available upon request.

You'll feel like James Bond behind the wheel of this very classic car. Purchased from CA a number of years ago, I got started on bringing this car up to daily driver status. However, I encountered some health issues that make it impossible physically and financially to make that happen.

Interior is basically new. Invested in bringing the fuel delivery system and carbs to working order. Balanced the carbs, installed a Pertronix distributor, new plugs, etc. and found the car to be pretty spirited. Take a moment to look at the documentation included in the photos to understand its capabilities.

First sold in '68 in Leeds, UK. Then shipped to Victoria BC, and later made its way to CA. Certificate from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. Includes Jaguar 420 Service Manual. Many spares in the boot along with sales brochures, and other misc. documentation.
