Delivered new in France by Royal Elysées
French title

This Jaguar Mk. II 3.4L was sold new by the French importer Royal Elysées in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It was acquired by its current owner in 1996 as a wreck. It was therefore a great project to bring it back to life. A complete dismantling was carried out, many sheet metal or tin plating operations were carried out, while the mechanics were completely dismantled to be redone. The car was thus finished in 2003 and then adorns itself with a dark red that looks great on it.
Today, the Jaguar is in roadworthy condition as evidenced by its last roadworthiness test in March 2019. The interior looks very good, the woodwork offers a beautiful shine and the leather has no particular snags. The bodywork looks healthy but a paint would be needed to give back all its splendour to the beautiful English woman. It is sold with a restoration file made by its owner, many invoices, and catalogues of spare parts from the period or more recent.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
