Car at auction 4/24
angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2636-06-Apr-2024/5523~1-1966-jaguar-34-mkii
Auction description:
Estimate: £8,000 - £10,000
V5 present
MoT exempt
Chassis number: 171324DN
For the first three years of its life, this Jaguar Mk2 was a Devonshire Constabulary police car. The vendor acquired it in September 2009 when it required complete restoration; this was subsequently carried out. The Jaguar was registered in January 1967 and its odometer is showing 72,470 miles. Its last MoT expired in June 2018 after being tested the year before at an indicated 71,983 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Mk2 is now MoT-exempt. Five registered keepers are recorded by the V5C. The vendor states that the Jaguar is running well with no problems, and was stored in a garage over winter. Paperwork includes the V5C, photocopy of a Jaguar workshop manual, parts catalogues, and a large folder of invoices. A spare set of keys also comes with the car.
