1966 Jaguar MK II 3.4 Litre

Not Sold

Reg Number: LPA333D
Chassis Number: 170039DN
Engine Number: KJ83538
Cc: 3442
Body Colour: Met. Gunmetal Grey
Trim Colour: Red
MOT ExpiryDate: Aug 2013

Finished in Gunmetal Grey Metallic with Red leather upholstery, this particular example dates from 1966 and boasts 'matching' chassis and engine numbers. A 3.4 litre model, its desirable specification comprises chrome wire wheels and four-speed manual / overdrive transmission. 'LPA 333D' is understood to have covered a mere 371 miles since the completion of an extensive restoration, which included the engine, by professional MKII specialists Mayfair Classic Cars of Tipton. This included: the replacement of rusty sections with new metal; bare metal respray; new suspension, brakes, brightwork, wire wheels, tyres; and the fitting of a stainless steel exhaust. The front seats, carpet and headlining have also been renewed and the woodwork refurbished. The vendor understandably now regards the bodywork, paintwork and venerable XK engine as "excellent" and the gearbox as "very good". The car's MOT is valid until August 2013.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
