Details
Offered here is a beautifully restored 3.4 MKII, which is presented in truly outstanding condition throughout. A photographic record of the works has been kept and is offered with the car but a concise overview of the work done is as follows. Bare metal professional repaint in Jaguar Opalescent Silver Blue, with low bake oven finish, full interior retrim, all wood veneer refurbished, all suspension rebuilt, brakes overhauled and rebuilt, wire wheels refurbished plus new splined hubs, engine and transmission fully checked over, serviced and all oils changed, new vitreous enamel exhaust manifolds, etc etc.
There are MKII Jaguars and there are MKII Jaguars. This example is one of those cars that win prizes at shows and cause enthusiasts to gasp in admiration. If you were to take a sound MKII, you could not achieve the standard of this car at double the estimated price, let alone at that price.
A truly excellent specimen, which is equipped with the 3.4 litre, XK engine and Borg Warner, 3-speed automatic transmission. The car also benefits from the highly desirable power steering and though fully restored has been kept to original specification throughout.
Estimate £19000-22000
