Registered on 22nd January 1965, this particular Jaguar MkII 3.4 saloon is an original right-hand drive UK car, fitted with manual overdrive and retains the original engine. It is an exceptionally original car, true to the day it left the factory and the buff log book shows only 3 previous keepers and the supplying dealer - Riders of Falmouth. Finished in the original colour of Warwick Grey with red leather upholstery, the panel fit is superb and the interior shows a lovely patination of time and use. This car further benefits from the very rare factory reclining seats. The original Motorola radio works, the original toolkit is present and complete along with the owners wallet, books and a Jaguar Heritage certificate.
Significantly, the vendor is an ex-Jaguar development engineer and has owned and maintained the car for the last 5 years having specifically prepared the car for a European tour in 2011. This work included new brakes, clutch, Koni classic dampers, a stainless exhaust, 3 pot brake calipers and a full overhaul of both the gearbox and carburettors. It comes to the sale with a full MOT, classic road tax and is a singularly unpretentious Jag Mk II which is mechanically excellent, completely original and on the button ready to enjoy!
