Details
This 1964 example is the right colour, has the right combination of engine and o/d gearbox and has benefited from a considerable amount of restoration, which is supported by a large history file. This work has included a bare metal repaint, new carpets, engine rebuild, new exhaust system, rebuilt gearbox, new battery, period Motorola radio with CD and FM facilities.

The car is said to drive as you would expect of one that has been cherished. In the vendors words "it drives as good as it looks". It is offered with the previously mentioned history file, a tailor made "fitted" garage cover and the original owners handbook.

Note: This description is provided by the vendor and unless otherwise stated is 'Not Verified' by Barons or any person employed by Barons. Prospective purchasers are advised to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any statements made, whether they be statements of fact or opinion.
Estimate: £9500-11500

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
