Car was at auction in '06
www.shannons.com.au/parkedlot

Auction description:
A very nice example of the sought after Jaguar Mark II, this has been a lovingly cared for and regularly serviced car that has proven utterly reliable in the current ownership of six years. Following on from an extensive bare metal restoration in 1997, the Jaguar has covered very little mileage and the condition today is little changed from when it left the shop. Finished in a most attractive colour scheme of gunmetal grey with contrasting original red leather upholstery, the Jaguar comes with overdrive and has an alternator fitted (the generator is supplied for those wishing to keep the car completely original). Included in the sale is a receipt file and the vehicle is to be sold registered in Victoria with a RWC supplied after sale. The registration plates 'JAG 133' are included in the sale.

Engine In-line six-cylinder, 3781cc
Gearbox: 4-speed manual
Bodywork Sedan
Colour: Gunmetal Grey
Engine No. 2A2454-8
Chassis No. 163654

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
