I owned this car between 1989 and about 1997-7 and sold to it to locals whom I thought were going to restore her but obviuosly just tried selling it on for a profit. Would dearly like to know if it still survives or has made its way to scrap heap in the sky? Comment written 6/1/2012.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
