Sellers description:
1960 Jaguar MK2 that I just got in Jan. 1st. It needs a total restoration. It is an all original unmolested car. It was last licensed for the road in 1975. It has had two owners since October 1974. The family that I bought it from, purchased it in October of 1987 as a restoration project. They brought it home, put it in the garage and there is sat, untouched for 25 years. Time went by, the husband passed, and the car was put up for sale. I am a RESALE person, not a RESTORER, so here it is.
I don't know that much about it, but I'll describe the best that I can. It has a 2.4l engine, which appears to be stuck. The body is super nice. There are not any dents. There are rust through spots on each rear quarter and the right front fender. They are not big, but they are there. The interior is in rough shape and the dash needs some wood replaced on the left end. The odometer reads 53680, but I no idea if has rolled over or not. It could be an actual 53k mile car, but I'M NOT SAYING THAT IT IS! After all it was only on the road for 15 years. It is almost 100% complete, except for a few small items that are missing.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
