Ebay item 3/1/09 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Buy it now price $3,250, 1 offer 6 days left in auction. 115k miles.
Sellers description:
Very unusual 1963 Jaguar Mk2 sedan. RHD, 4 speed with overdrive.European model with unusual equipment. Been in California for many years. Not used regularly since 1990 (last reg sticker on plate). Complete car to be restored, or used for parts (but that would be a shame..).
Overall condition (considering age) is good. Straight body with minimal rust; cabin floors all good, some rust in right rocker panel (in front of rear wheel), left rear quarter panel (behind rear wheel, down low, below bumper area), and misc elsewhere. Rear bumper is included but not on car (rubber mounts broke). Multiple sets of front/rear window trim chrome in trunk. All chrome is still on car except for driver's door waist and hood top strip. All glass good. Complete original interior and wood set. Original Euro spec radio is still installed- RCA "His Master's Voice" (radio included with buy-it-now price of $3250 and will be removed at any lower price). Complete under the hood as well- missing only windshield washer bottle and fan shroud. Engine will not turn over- stuck??
It appears the car was in a shop for the beginning of some restoration work (exhaust system was removed and discarded, front/rear windshield chrome removed, and some initial stripping/sanding was done on roof and trunk lid). Nothing more was done
Selling "as-is" as a project car to do with as you see fit. No keys. Lien sale paperwork provided.
The car is located in Campbell California, 50 miles south of San Francisco.
