Sellers description:
Stunning Jaguar Mark II Saloon. It has a 2.4 liter engine with matching engine and transmission numbers. It has an interior in need of restoration. The interior pictures look better than it looks in real life. There are no rips or tears in the upholstery. The car needs carpets. The headliner is absolutely beautiful, as are the visors. Interior lights work. Tack, speedo, and other gauges work as well. The wood is about an 8 on a scale of one to ten. It still looks very, very good - but not concourse quality. The car is a right hand drive and it is automatic. She starts easily and purrs like a kitten. The transmission should be serviced, this car as not been driven very often. There are new tires all around. I have set the reserve so that any repairs can be easily paid for.
There are two small indentations where a mechanic did not place the lift arms properly on the jack spurs. These are an easy fix, I have photographed the side that is most damaged. Car is wonderfully solid. Doors shut tight. Rubber is excellent and new. Chrome is brilliant with some very minor pits. Rear tailight will have new lens - cover before it leaves my garage. This is a great opportunity to own a piece of history and a lovely car.
