'ROV 841' entered its current ownership in 2009, whereupon it was thoroughly restored by Flying Cat Engineering of Royston, Herts. Various underside and panel repairs were made before the car was treated to a bare metal respray and a fresh coat of underseal. It also benefited from a professional re-trim and sundry re-chroming, while the 2.4-litre engine was extensively overhauled and converted to run on unleaded fuel. The suspension and brakes were rejuvenated, the electrical system checked and serviced, and new rear lights, window rubbers/seals and wire wheels fitted, along with a refurbished clock and speedometer. The Jaguar is now described by the vendor as having "superb" bodywork/paintwork, "very good" automatic transmission, "all new" upholstery and a "thoroughly overhauled" engine.
