A very well sorted MkII from front to back. Good colour combination finished off with a restored black Mohair Webasto roof that was originally vinyl.
Chrome wire wheels. The photos tell the story better than a boring list.
It does need to be driven to be appreciated
The car has had the rear differential seal replaced recently as well as oil change and filter, gear box oil change coolant and all extensive greasing done for a car of this vintage
The underneath is solid see pics and under the doors no rust. The bulkhead and boot very good too no rust see pics.
The restoration work on the car started from July 2004 with the interior work starting in 2007. I have a file with all the photographs of the work done. I also have all the documents from its first stamped Rd tax book up to today. Too much to list.
THE BEST POINTS
Apart from electronic ignition and a Dinatore (alternator) fitted last year, the car is very original. I had the steering column completely stripped down and refurbished at the same time and a Jaguar auto electrician sorted out all the electrics and all the instruments, overdrive, lights etc etc work as they should. It drives as it should.
KNOWN FAULTS OR DAMAGE
The only downside is the paintwork. There is some micro paint blistering on the top of the wings, it could do with a paint refresh on the lower half of the car
