Restored 1962 Jaguar MK2 3.8 Sedan. Discovered in Montecito near Santa Barbara, California, this example is treasure. I personally composed the photos and video of the car on location and must state that this vehicle is stunning. I am informed the car was restored most likely in the early 1990's and has been garaged since and rarely driven. That said, the vehicle appears fresh and unmolested.
The body, paint and chrome are near perfect. The genuine leather upholstery, headliner and door panels are without blemish. All interior hardwood appointments and trim are in remarkable condition and wonderfully clear-coat finished. The trunk appears extremely solid with the tools, jack and the spoked spare tire intact. The engine and bay were clean, detailed and dry. The car has an added rack & pinion steering system installed. Some age/weather checking were noticed in the wide-white sidewalls. If you are seeking a jewel of a Jaguar of this vintage, I believe whoever wins this car will be thrilled.
