Documents V5C, MoT Sept 2020

First registered in June 1957, this lovely Mk1 is thought to be an original UK supplied right hand drive car and has had just 3 owners from new. Unfortunately much of it’s paper history was lost in a house move so we can only go with what we see. The odometer reads just over 50,000 miles, and a quick MoT check reveals that has covered a mere 250 miles since 2005. The vendor assures us that it has a strong engine and four speed with overdrive gearbox. The suspension has recently been completely rebuilt with new bushes all round and there are new tyres on the matching blue painted steel wheels.

On the inside the beige leather is in good condition and together with the refurbished wood veneer makes it a nice place to enjoy the excellent performance.

With a current MoT valid until September 2020 it looks to be an excellent example of an increasingly rare and undervalued car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
