1998-2000 the car underwent a full nut and bolt restoration with full photographic documentation and file of receipts

Purchased by the current vendor in 2006, since which time it has been used very sparingly and was displayed and stored in a larger collection
MOT and Road Tax exempt
Many receipts for servicing and works through the years
Original toolkit, spare wheel and jack
Owner’s manuals and books
2 keys
Only acquired by the current vendor in 2006, the car is in exceptional condition throughout and is only being offered up for auction due to the need to reduce the size of the collection.
The comprehensive history file and photographs that accompany the car details the extent of the full restoration in 1998 and the car has been mainly dry stored since with no exposure to the elements.
The Interior
Light Grey Connelly hide interior with contrasting blue carpets
Interior shows only the smallest signs of wear and tear throughout the cabin but is in overall very good condition
Push button starter
Deep leather seats
Front and rear armrests
Heated rear window
Updated audio system
No cracks to dashboard
Interior wood trim in very good condition throughout
All gauges and dials work

Door cards all good

All electrics and functions are reported to be working correctly
There’s plenty of wood trim and quality leather used in the Daimler cabin and the leather seats are still deep and luxurious to sit in.
The carpets are deep pile and still good with the dashboard, door-cards and headlining are all clean and without any damage, and the whole interior reflects luxurious cars from that era extremely well.
The Exterior
Opalescent Blue paintwork in excellent condition
Original wheels and hub caps are all very clean and all wear good usable tyres
Few small scratches and marks in the paintwork to be found
Badges and external trim all present with pretty good chrome in some instances showing some very light surface pitting
Clean engine bay
Underneath appears good, clean and solid
Lights all work and are free from any cracks or damage
Clean and dry boot area containing the correct spare wheel, original toolkit and jack
The car presents extremely well with hardly a mark on its bodywork and paint with no sign of any untoward corrosion or imperfections.
The Mechanics
2.5 litre V8 engine
4-speed manual transmission with overdrive
Stainless Steel exhaust
Oil cooler fitted
Always garaged
The vendor advises that the car is in excellent mechanical shape, starting and driving very well with no major issues to report or advise, except for the car needing a new brake master cylinder, which will be supplied with the car.
Boasting a comprehensive history detailing the extensive restoration carried out to the car between 1998 and 2000 this is a car presented in excellent mechanical condition that is literally ready to be driven away and enjoyed.
